If you are strength training regularly and are confused about choosing your level of training, you are most likely at an intermediate or at beginner level. Years of training do not qualify us to put ourselves in the category of the advanced level trainee.
If you are someone who is consistently following a programmed strength training program in a gym for at least 5years and if there is a consistent focus on progressive overload, then you qualify to put yourself in the advanced level.
If you have less than one year of training experience or if you are someone who is not very consistent at the gym, you can select beginner level.
If you have more than two years of consistent exercise experience and If you are exercising regularly, select intermediate level.
If you are not doing any form of strength training or if you are following exercise formats that do not cause a lot of muscle breakdown (eg: Yoga, Pilates, etc), choose the option ‘No Strength Training’
Being able to identify yourself in one of these categories is crucial to how well rounded your approach to fitness can be.
